Jake dreamed of starting his own handyman business, fueled by over 5 years of hands-on experience in the field. Since 2015, he’s been honing his skills by tackling his own 'honey-do' list, with his wife Jessica’s keen eye for detail. Driven by a desire to create something lasting, Jake started his business with the goal of building a legacy that could be passed down to the next generation.

About Jake and Jessica
Jake Broaddus
A Hanover native, Jake was raised with strong faith and integrity. After graduating from Roanoke College, he earned his Master’s in Health Administration. However, he always felt a deeper calling to serve others. This led him to the home improvement industry, where he discovered not only a passion for the work but also a natural talent for it. From backsplash tiling to installing light fixtures, Jake has built a wealth of experience across many areas of home improvement. Now, with over five years of hands-on experience, he’s excited to meet new clients and help them tackle their home maintenance needs with skill and reliability.
Jessica Broaddus
Jessica, also a Virginia native and mom of two, knows the balancing act of family life, work, and pursuing her passions. She supports the administrative side of Chosen Home Improvement while raising her kids and working as an account manager at a marketing company. Rooted in faith, she’s dedicated to supporting Jake and their mission to help other families improve their homes. Jessica is excited to connect with fellow homeowners and help them take the first step toward their next project.
